For a long awaited vacation, many flee to seaside. Often the feeling of diving into the clean, cold sea symbolizes cleansing from everyday life and the commencement of battery recharge. It is indeed a fine choice, as the natural surroundings have the greatest potential of providing proper relaxation and rest. Many places can provide such refreshment, but rare are those with a truly old soul, traditional Mediterranean spirit and the abundance of untouched natural beauties. One of those rare places is the increasingly popular coast of Croatia, with its many islands and archipelagos, and one of the most prominent examples of all the Adriatic advantages is the island of Hvar.
Apartments Jelsa is a stylish Mediterranean apartment complex situated on the beach that provides a fantastic view of the port and the island of Brač. The property is in an ideal position not only because of the beach, but because it is close to the center of Jelsa. The house is a multiple stories high with a radiant white façade, blue wooden window shades, red tiled roof and iron pergolas with vine growing over them. The property is surrounded by lush flora, a great addition which completes the whole traditional vibe of the complex, with a touch of Santorini-like influences. There are 2 apartments for 2 people on the first floor, and an apartment for 2+1 on the upper floor.
All of the apartments are decorated very tastefully, with wooden elements, light colors, well-chosen tiles and drapes, and beautiful abstract paintings. The bed casings are metallic, and the beds are very comfortable, as is the rest of the furniture in the apartments.
Apartments for 2 people have a double bed, they come equipped with a kitchen studio located in a separate area. The kitchen is connected to the terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea, and the same can be said for the apartment for 2+1. That one has a large double bed and an extra bed. It is also equipped with a studio kitchen, which is located on the terrace.
You can find most of what you need in terms of grocery shopping in the town center, along with many bars, restaurants, bakeries, fish markets and more. There is an abundance of summertime options available like rent-a-boat, jet-ski and guided tours, and festivals that are often held in the old town. As for the exploration, we suggest visiting Paklinski Islands right next to Hvar, Šćedro island, the Old Town Plain (if you’re up for some wine tasting), Tvrdalj Castle (a fortified Renaissance-era building that was the summer home of poet Petar Hektorović) and Fortica (a hilltop fortress with picturesque views). For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
