Welcome to Brač, one of the most beautiful and surely the largest island in the Adriatic coast. It is a place of peaceful rest for many, and with all its content it attracts people of all kinds of interests and spheres. As for this villa in a lovely old village of Mirca, you can enjoy both the active life near the people, or relax in the privacy the villa provides.
Villa Stone reveals much in its very name; it is a building made in a traditional Mediterranean fashion, out of quality Brač stone for the most part, with red roof tiles and green painted window covers. The enclosure within the village is very specific, with both the courtyard and the villa looking as if from a previous century. For those looking for authenticity, along with all the benefits of modern life, look no more. The metal fence opens up to the street level patio where you can park your vehicle. From the patio you access the paved courtyard of the villa, a beautifully decorated surface evident in the many of the gardens around the villa and a swimming pool next to which is a sun deck. The pool has a hydro massage feature, and the sun deck is wooden, with 6 available sun loungers – perfect for enjoying the summer sun and getting a quick refreshment from the heat. Also important to notice is that the sun deck is positioned in such a way that it provides a captivating view of the sea and Dalmatian coast around Split.
As for the interior, the villa consists of just over 120 square meters. On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and lounge with wooden beams, a fireplace, a TV set and a sofa bed where 2 more guests can sleep. Next to it is an additional toilet/guest cloakroom and a small laundry room with a washing machine. Master bedroom is also on the ground floor. It has a king size double bed and an en suite bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower. From the master bedroom, the French door leads out to the lovely terrace at the back of the house, with a coffee table, chairs and a small garden with Mediterranean herbs and an old lemon tree. A grand staircase leads to the first floor from the living room, but it can also be accessed via the traditional stone staircase on the outside of the villa. The first floor consist of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and a family bathroom with two wash basins and a bathtub. One more bathroom with a shower is next to the outside patio.
The nearest beach is only 800 meters from the villa, so it would only require a short walk to the sea. For more content, you might want to check out some of the landmarks of Brač: the official center of the island, Supetar (9km) where, apart from all the festivities throughout summertime, you may explore the town’s history – mostly venetian baroque buildings from 18th century, along with 19th century expansion buildings. There is also the old town of Bol (42km) with all the interesting architecture and options such as wind surfing near the famous Zlatni Rat beach, rent-a-boat, jet-ski, etc. Above Bol towers the highest peak of Brač, Vidova Gora, from where you can enjoy a majestic view all around.
