If you’re visiting the Adriatic coast to, apart from enjoying its wide content, immerse yourself in its traditional culture, then Villa Singapur is the right place. The villa was built in 2018 in a high level of luxury and it is fitting for a large family, two smaller ones or a group of friends. Despite being brand new, it was built in more of a traditional style than modern, and all is visible in its very outlook. The villa’s primary construction material is high quality stone, it has blue wooden window shades and a very large garden. A lot of content can be explored in the villa’s surroundings. First off, as you exit the villa you find yourself under a lovely wooden pergola supported by slim stone pillars. The stairway leads down to the paved terrace which houses a swimming pool next to which you will find a number of sun beds and a couple of parasols. The area is decorated by some lovely plants of different kinds, mainly flowers. Right by the pool is an open kitchen under the shade of a canopy. The kitchen is simple, containing a sink and some equipment to ease the preparation of barbecue in the fireplace right next to it. Further down the terrace is a table with a set of chairs under another pergola, serving as an excellent outdoor dining area with an amazing view of the Adriatic sea and the islands of Sipan and Lopud. The garden is a spacious green surface divided into many levels and containing various kinds of indigenous vegetation. There you will also find a children’s playground, a wonderful addition your kids will surely enjoy!
The interior of the villa is just fabulous. Its gentle, charming and fitting to the Mediterranean exterior. In the inner spaces of the villa you will encounter a lot of elegant, comfortable furniture (like the sofas of the living room or the beds in the bedrooms), which includes furniture of modern design and some vintage pieces. The vintage furniture does great in creating a warm, home-like atmosphere which is further supported by an excellent choice of lighting and lovely decorations like the old clock, various sorts of paintings and some maritime wooden ornaments. Most of the walls are painted very light pink or white, so the spaces are airy and fresh. In the bedrooms there are some cool, unobtrusive wallpapers that blend well with the overall style of the villa. As for the accommodation, the villa can take up to 7 people. There are 3 bedrooms: the 1st one with 1 single bed, the 2nd with 2 single beds and the 3rd one with 1 double bed. The living room offers space for two more on the 2 sofa beds. It is a peaceful, graceful place both inside and out, and one can be sure to get a well-deserved rest in its confines. It is also air conditioned and pet friendly. Maid service is available on request, as well as a private chef.
Brsečine is a village in the north-western part of the Dubrovnik littoral in Croatia, about 1km from the cove of the same name and 25km northwest of Dubrovnik. It is one of the favorite excursion destinations for the citizens of Dubrovnik, mainly due to its beautiful shore southeast of Cape Osmolis. There is some historical heritage in the vicinity to explore, like the 16th century mansion of the Zuzoric family and the fortified mansion of the Ohmucevic-Bizzaro family, with a chapel and a park, from the 17th century. You can also find the old church of St. George and next to it the ruins of a small church of St. Stephen. There are some shops and bars in the vicinity, but for more content both in terms of shopping and cultural or adventurous activities you should consider visiting the old town of Dubrovnik, where every step among those ancient streets bears a new interesting landmark. For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
