Brač is a perfect place to get a much needed rest from the commotion of the fast-paced everyday life. Its nature is vast, scattered all over the island, and much of it includes plants like olives, lemon, rosemary, lavender, immortelle, all of which spread sweet and gentle fragrances throughout the island. The sea is one of the cleanest parts of the whole Mediterranean, and the climate is truly refreshing. So if those are the things that you enjoy, this is the place. But the island offers so much more!
Villa Renate is a lovely modern villa situated in a cove called Milna, on the island of Brač. It is a perfect choice for enjoying private holidays with family and friends, being spacious, luxurious and positioned right by the sea. The villa is designed in contemporary fashion, its aesthetics consisting of fine lines, glass surfaces and a nice cream colored façade. It has a large courtyard surrounding it and gently descending towards the waterfront. The levels of the courtyard, or the terraces are thematically different. For instance, one has a fairly large dining table with a set of chairs, providing you the option of enjoying outdoor feasts (perhaps a barbeque, which is also available at the villa’s grounds), while the other, lower one serves as a lounging area with a wooden sun deck and a number of deck chairs positioned on top. A touch with nature is greatly emphasized with a fine number of live trees emerging from the courtyard’s surfaces, and a lovely treeline of cypress by the enclosure walls. On top of all, the Mediterranean feel is completed with a great view of the bay!
It wouldn’t be a terrific summer villa if the interior didn’t follow the standard of the exterior, but in this case it is quite the opposite. The tone is set immediately upon entering the villa, and maintained throughout the interior. The flooring is completely wooden, mostly dark with a fine glaze. The color fits very well with the white and beige of the walls, drapes and some of the furniture. In addition, there are a lot of wooden elements to go with the flooring, such as the commodes, a TV closet, both the living room and the dining room table with its chairs, and so on. There are a lot of glass surfaces in the form of large glass slide doors, providing for a lot of light within the villa and greatly opening the whole space. The kitchen comes fully equipped for all your daily cooking needs, and it is custom made with great taste. The upper floor has a smaller kitchen as well. Villa Renate has 3 bedrooms on the first floor – a large master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom that share a bathroom, and a sauna. On the ground floor you will find one large bedroom with a bathroom. The villa is pet friendly, air conditioned, with Wi-Fi and a private chef is available per request. A parking space is also available right beside the villa's entrance.
Now for some general exploring suggestions; you might consider visiting Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff). Bol itself offers plenty of entertainment in the form of summer fests, rent-a-boats, windsurfing, jet skiing etc. More information will be provided on your request, so feel free to ask.
