The coast of Croatia is without doubt one of the most popular and most desired summer destinations for people around the world, and for all the right reasons. The slower development of Croatian rural areas resulted in the conservation of many traditional ways of life and professions passed through many generations, like those of wine makers and fishermen. Another plus is the relatively untouched nature of the whole country, let alone the coast and its islands. Therefore, for all who wish to experience a peaceful, memorable holiday spent in a true spirit of the Mediterranean, the island of Hvar is the perfect place!
Villa Lana is a luxurious stone villa located about a minute of walking distance from the center of Hvar, and everything the town has to offer. Within the stone walls of the enclosure, this modern villa incorporates the main elements of contemporary architecture, like functionality and elegance, with a touch of Mediterranean spirit visible in the usage of stone, red roof tiles, wooden window shades and an abundance of flora. Nestled among lemon, lavender and olive trees, the villa overlooks the Fortress of Hvar with its beautiful oasis, along with some other parts of the old town core. Villa Lana has six units that can accommodate up to 16 guests, with two 80m2 apartments and four 40m2 studio apartments. All units are air conditioned, with a private en suite bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi for mobile devices, walk-in power shower, king size bed and private balconies overlooking the courtyard with a swimming pool. This spacious courtyard is a common area of the house where you may relax a bit under the sun, swim in the pool, enjoy some drinks and meet other guests. The villa is perfect for families, couples, athletes, groups of friends and all wish to enjoy all the gifts the island has to offer, like the clean sea, rich nature and all kinds of activities.

As far as your shopping needs are concerned, the old town of Hvar has a sufficient amount of general stores, bakeries and marketplaces. Apart from all the restaurants, bars and night clubs, there is an abundance of summertime options available like rent-a-boat, jet-ski, sailing, diving and guided tours, and all kinds of festivals are often held in town. As for the exploration, we suggest visiting Paklinski Islands right next to Hvar, Šćedro island, the Old Town Plain (if you’re up for some wine tasting), Tvrdalj Castle (a fortified Renaissance-era building that was the summer home of poet Petar Hektorović) and Fortica (a hilltop fortress with picturesque views). For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
