Situated on the banks of a long dolomite hill belonging to the Dinarides mountain range, a lovely Mediterranean villa resides. In a village of Lovorno, 24km from Dubrovnik, Villa Jasmine is a perfect starting point to visit all kinds of interesting places in the vicinity, as well as a place of great comfort that you are sure to enjoy. Being in a village of very low population density and of great natural riches, the property guarantees privacy and ensures you a proper rest and a memorable holiday. Everywhere you look you see vast nature like the pine and cypress forests, the rocky slopes of the hills behind and around the villa. The villa is typically Mediterranean, with arched openings in its upper terrace walls, a pergola supported by pillars and overrun with vines covering the porch and plenty of vegetation. The courtyard of the villa is very spacious and it covers, for the most part, a large patch of trimmed grass with various kinds of small trees and shrubs, as well as some utilities for children, like swings, a slide and other toys. The paved part of the courtyard, or the terrace, houses a swimming pool. By the pool there are some sun beds and parasols. Between the pool and the villa there is another, smaller building serving an additional kitchen and an outdoor dining area- Beneath its roof is an open fireplace, along with a table and a set of chairs.
The interior of the villa is a combination of styles, as you will find upon entering different areas of the house. For instance, the living room is very elegant and modern, with hardwood floor, built in lighting, comfortable, designer furniture and a mixture of three colors – red, white and black. Here you will find a flat screen TV with satellite channels and a lot of decorations like sculptures, vases, designer lamps and so on. The kitchen / dining area is quite vintage in its design, with old school furniture, terracotta tiles, exposed wooden ceiling, vintage drapes and some of the decorations. The kitchen is, however, fully equipped for your daily cooking needs (an oven, electric cookers, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, cupboards and so on). The house has 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms has a double bed, and there are two more sofa beds in the house, making it appropriate for up to 12 people. The upper terrace is a lovely place to enjoy your free time, as it has a nice green wooden table with benches, lovely decorations like vases, vintage lamps and a wooden barrel, and a magnificent view to boot. The villa is pet friendly as well, and there is a dog house outside if you wish to use it. At your disposal you will also have a sauna. The house is air conditioned, with internet and Wi-Fi available.
Lovorno is a little village situated under Kune Konavoske. The mountain behind the village is part of the Dinarides mountain range, more precisely the southernmost part of the range in Croatia. From the top of the peak called Sniježnica you can see fantastic views of the Konavle fields, Čilipi airport, Mljet, Korcula, Lastovo, Peljesac, the mountains of Bosnia and Montenegro. The village has about 180 inhabitants, but you will find a shop for grocery shopping and some bars. The good thing is that the old town and a well-known tourist destination Dubrovnik is only 24km away! There you will find the finest bars and restaurants in the Adriatic, a lot of history to explore and plenty of summertime activities, from nightlife to sports. Festivals are often held throughout the season, as well as other manifestations.
