As the holiday season approaches, many find themselves daydreaming about what their ideal vacation might be. It might be somewhere the climate is moderate, pleasant, with clear weather and clean sea… Anywhere far from the commotion of fast-paced city life, from all the noise and dense air, any such place has the potential to refill lost energy and build strength for times to come. Add into the mix all the vast natural beauties, all the lively flora and fauna, and you got yourself a vacation to truly remember. Here on Korcula, chances are you will find all you need!
Villa Adam is a spectacular and luxurious modern house situated in a quiet bay near the historic town of Korcula. The villa boasts many magnificent elements, its position being one of them. The property rests firmly on the rocky slopes directly above the surface of the clear Adriatic sea, on a prominent location in relative isolation from the curious neighbors and tourist noise, providing you an opportunity to fully relax and take in the mesmerizing surroundings like the sea and the rich Mediterranean flora. The villa is designed in modern, meticulous fashion that practically spells luxury. The wide open spaces enclosed within simple shapes and sharp lines are typical of minimalistic aesthetics, while the high quality materials make the place fit nicely into the natural background. The front wall of the villa, along with some of the walls of the enclosure, is made of stone, a nice nod to the traditional architecture of the locality. Atop all of that, large glass windows that cover whole floors blur the line between interior and exterior, in a most elegant way. Around the villa you will see narrow gardens enriched with lovely vegetation. In front of the house there is a spacious terrace with white tiles, and on it you will find plenty of fine content. On one side there is a long dining table with a set of chairs, near which an outdoor fireplace is built, suitable for barbecue. On the other side you will find a nice lounge area with sofas and a parasol, and between those two a gorgeous infinity pool to complete the picture. The interior of the villa is all you’d expect from a high class holiday home. It follows the excellence of the exterior in a most exquisite manner; all of the spaces within the large villa are excellently furnished, with a wide array of lovely and comfortable furniture, fine designer lamps (like the ones with tree trunk as their base), lovely decorations and fitting materials. There is a lot of wood within the villa which radiates warmth, and one excellent wooden addition to the place are the lamps with artistic lumber bases. The walls are all painted white, which in tow with the amount of sunlight entering through the large glass surfaces creates an open and airy atmosphere. The villa has 4 spacious en-suite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include a private gym, a sauna and a mooring. Maid service and a private chef are available per request.
Korcula is a very old town (13th century) with a long history, parts of which still stand today as a monument to ages gone by, like the central Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral of St Mark, the 15th century Franciscan monastery with a Venetian Gothic cloister, the civic council chambers, the massive city fortifications and much more. We also recommend the beach Pupnatska Luka, Lumbarda and the isle of Badija, places famous for their beauty and serenity. There are some fine restaurants with delicious local cuisine, as well as grocery stores and lovely old school taverns. You have an opportunity to engage in various summer activities as well, like sailing or scuba diving. For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask! We wish you a pleasant stay!
