Welcome to Brač, one of the most beautiful and surely the largest island in the Adriatic coast. Villa Simona is a beautiful traditionally designed house close to the waterfront. The middle and lower levels of the villa are made of arranged stone, as are the drywalls surrounding the property. The house also has green painted wooden door and window shades, along with a red tiled roof – all of the signature elements of Mediterranean architecture. The upper part of the villa is made of brick, covered with a wonderfully white façade. The terrace to which you enter from the living/dining room is quite spacious and paved in stone, and there is a lovely wooden pergola looming over it, supported by stone pillars. In the corner of the terrace there is a fireplace with a sink next to it, a perfect opportunity for making tasty barbecue and having and outdoor meal. It is all the better since you also have a grandiose view of the bay, the open sea and the adjacent coast. The garden of the property is rich in vegetation that smells just wonderful, and is sure to please anyone who loves pure nature.
The interior uses the best combination of colors for this kind of seaside scenery, and the elements of the house are all carefully picked and excellently placed. The kitchen/dining/living room area is perfect example of this – the floor is covered by lovely terracotta tiles, the tables, cupboard and bookshelf are wooden, as well as the ceiling with wooden beams and planks, and the staircase leading to the upper floor. The kitchen is well designed and equipped with all the necessary elements for your daily needs. Around the villa there are great decorative pieces that give soul and life to the place, and all of those bear maritime and picturesque themed images. The lighting system consists of very nice and elegant lamps scattered through the villa which creates a really warm atmosphere at night. The living room has a set of really comfortable linen covered sofas, and next to them is an indoor fireplace giving a romantic touch to the whole picture. All in all, the villa consists of a large terrace with a dining area, a big living room and a kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The place is air conditioned, with internet and WiFi connection, pet friendly and available maid service on request. If you ever wish to try some local cuisine at home, a private chef is also available on request!
Now for some general exploring suggestions; you might consider visiting Vidova Gora right above Bol (the highest peak of Brač offering a stunning view in every direction), Supetar (the island’s official center, providing a lot of content in the likes of festivals, fisherman fests, etc.) and Blaca hermitage (a remote 16th century monastery built into a cliff).
